Beautiful Queens, whether you are a Mother, have a Mother or know a Mother, we are positive that you will appreciate just how precious and amazing Mothers are!
Some will argue that, it is one of the hardest jobs you will ever undertake, but most may agree that it is certainly one of the most rewarding. In fact, we believe that being a Mother should not be viewed as a job, rather as a precious gift, a privilege and certainly an outstanding opportunity to bring new life to this world to nurture and to be the best possible role model. What a huge achievement that would be!
We agree that in todays’ world, some Women go through a lot of physical, emotional and mental health struggles, whether it’s difficulty in conceiving, having to undergo medical interventions, painful pregnancy symptoms, difficult deliveries, juggling work and life with raising a child, nevertheless due to the innate strength and resilience of a Woman, she can indeed get through these challenges. Women are so inspiring!
The physical struggles that some Women experience may include gaining weight, stretch marks, change in body shape or even scars from a caesarean section, nonetheless we want you to believe that all these changes are absolutely natural and fine. Remember you are a Queen!
Some Mothers are able to get back to their pre-pregnancy weight, but others simply don’t. If you have a new body shape, or gained some weight, don’t see this as a negative, turn it into a positive because your body went through feats of bringing a new life into this world. You are amazing, strong and beautiful!
Feel empowered and see it as an opportunity to nurture your new body, perhaps explore new and different clothing styles. Certainly, if your goal is to lose weight, then work at it. This could mean drinking more water, eating juicy fruits and vegetables, doing exercise or seeking well-being advice from a professional. Whatever you choose to do, take your time, there is simply no rush, you will get there!
With the mental health struggles some women suffer with post-natal depression, body confidence issues, feelings of isolation. These are more serious matters but thankfully there is a lot of support out there through talking with family and friends, seeking medical advice, reaching out to support networks, read self-help books, listen to podcasts, prayer. Whatever gets you through, just do it and don’t feel alone!
We want you to remember that everything you go through, whether physical or mental health struggles is all part of the journey of self-development, self-love and self-care! Strive for a positive, healthy mindset, because when you have a healthy mindset, you are better equipped to make the right decisions or choices that would benefit your physical health and hopefully make you feel good about yourself.
On this Mother’s Day and every day, be inspired by your strength, your achievements and also by all the strong, beautiful women in your life and in society. Whatever size or shape you are, embrace you, love yourself and feel empowered to express how good you feel about yourself through style.
Lastly, be kind to yourself and tell every Mother you know just how amazing they are!
BE INSPIRED, FEEL EMPOWERED, EMBRACE YOU!
Lot's of Love
